chairlift
Take the chairlift up to the Adlerfelsen (Eagle Rock) in comfort. At the top, you'll find the Adleralm (Eagle's Pasture), Wurzelrudi's Murmelwald (Marmot Forest) with its pirate ship, a water playground, and a giant picture frame for the perfect family photo. From the mountain station, it's just a 5-minute walk to Wurzelrudi's Seedorf (Lake Village). The descent offers breathtaking panoramic views. Strollers and buggies ride free when folded and empty!

Information:
- Wurzeltaler (Root Valley Ticket): Ascent €10, Descent €5
- Age recommendation: Children up to 3 years free, children under 125 cm must be accompanied by an adult, children 125 cm and taller can ride alone
- Open: Easter to early November, Saturdays/Sundays, public holidays, school holidays (sometimes also in neighboring states)

Questions about the chairlift?
From what age can children use the chairlift alone?
Children 125cm and taller may use the chairlift alone. Children shorter than 125cm may only use the chairlift when accompanied by an adult.
Is my dog allowed on the chairlift?
Dogs on the chairlift - we generally do not recommend it.
Are strollers allowed on the chairlift?
Sure, gladly! That will get you up the mountain comfortably!
How many people can fit in the chairlift?
Quite clearly: two people sit next to each other. The only exceptions are babies in slings or similar carriers that are securely attached to the adult.
Does the chairlift transport bicycles?
The area around the lake village is wonderful for cycling, and we are happy to transport regular bicycles by train.
Can I ride the chairlift in winter?
In winter, the chairlift is reserved for skiers! Exceptions are only made for the illuminated tour or torchlight hike.
